The statewide analyses of BMI data collected in public schools show overall childhood obesity trends in Arkansas, including weight classification percentages by gender, grade, and ethnicity. Appendices included in the report show overall BMI results by school, school district, and county.

Note: Readers should be aware that occasionally the BMI classification results for schools and school districts may vary slightly between the individual School Reports and the overall statewide report. The differences between the two types of report are due to the ways in which individual students are classified by grade, school, or age for analysis. The difference in results reported between the two reports may be up to 3 percentage points.
